The assignment was to create a corporate identity for a digital algorithm based wealth management company. I had the repeated thought of a digital brokerage in my mind. The trend of putting an ‘i’ in front of anything digital made a lot of sense in this aspect. Focusing on classical and traditional typefaces I stuck with those letters and word shapes. I used an Sans-serif B in order to anchor it to the modern age with a cool intelligent blue to show that it is switched on. The layout of the baseline of the letters sits neatly together to tug your eye through the logo quickly and easily. I would sign up for that service in a heartbeat. Partially because it’ll make me money the more I use it and for fractions of cents. This logo was carefully drawn before digitized in Adobe Illustrator.
